The club COW BELL may be awarded, by majority vote to a member who by his/her actions has done something (i.e. bonehead move)
at a club function to deserve the award.
The responsibility of the COW BELL recipient shall display the cow bell in any vehicle that the member drives
in the following month. If a member catches the recipient without the cow bell, the recipient owes the member
dinner at the next meeting

Ole won for pulling an Andrew: he was coming in the Area 5 gate, and figured that his Jeep could drive itself through the gate
while he closed it. The problem was, it didn't go straight. So, Ole had to hop alongside with one foot in it trying to steer it to miss the
gate. Good thing there wasn't a camera handy...

Even with the Blue Lakes run, no one did anything to earn them the cowbell, it is believed that it is still in the possesion of Ira Weiny. Since there doesn't seem to be many
wheeling events occuring in the near future, Ira will have to be the steward of the cowbell for now.
September 2004
Ira Weiny get's to keep September's cow bell as there were no nominations this month. Plus, we think the cow bell is somewhere in Europe at the present time, on vacation with Lorrie & Ira
August 2004
Ira Weiny get's August's cow bell award for being overly zealous and throwing a large rock on Richard's finger. Richard, we hope you're feeling better.
July 2004
Ira Weiny get's July's cow bell award for getting lost on the Adopt-A-Trail run. Ira neglects to bring his GPS because it didn't have any batteries (Jim was on this run,
and those who know, knows that Jim would have an ample amount of batteries - how else would he power his flashlights). Ira not only get's lost, but claims it was the correct way to go.
Congrats to Jim for sucessfully getting rid of the cow bell.
June 2004
No new winner, Jim keeps it another month. No, we're not just picking on this one member.
May 2004
Jim Hodges gets March's cow bell award for first trying to get stuck, and then not being sucessfull there, tried to
get stuck again by trying to climb a dirt wall that was clearly beyond his capabilities. In the act of trying to get him out,
we ask him where his tow strap was. He replied in the back, well by this time, the back was not going to be accessible due to the
large amount of dirt holding the tailgate of the ZJ closed.

No new winner, Jim keeps it another month
March 2004
Jim Hodges gets March's cow bell award for cutting across 4 lanes of traffic, as claimed by Ira
and verified by several others. This act in itself probably wouldn't have earned Jim the cow bell
except Jim was towing his trailer behind him.

October 2003
Jim Hodges gets October's cowbell award for not knowing when he was locked in the front and thinking he was
broken. This causing Ira to get excessive exercise from having to get out of his Jeep to check on Jim.
